Panforte® E.C. pellet capsule is a digestive medicine and contains three enzymes: lipase, amylase and protease. These enzymes are naturally secreted from the pancreas gland into the intestine and cause the digestion of fat, protein and starch. Sometimes, due to various reasons, the pancreas cannot produce and secrete these enzymes in sufficient quantity, and as a result, a person experiences indigestion, stomach ache, and bloating after eating. If food is not digested and broken down into smaller molecules, it cannot be absorbed through the intestinal wall. These substances remain undigested in the digestive tract and cause abdominal distension and pain.
