On the eve of the twenty-eighth Annual Congress of Internal Medicine of Iran, the head of the congress, Mr. Dr. Iraj Khosroniya announced in his message on holding the Congress in the Iran University of Medical Sciences: congress and seminars, in fact, are the same as opening a window into the research and training centers to show a summary of the results of research works to the attention of other colleagues and researchers in the Medical Sciences field. In this Congress of Medical Sciences, over the 200 professors and scientists were invited from medical sciences universities across the country, and more than 182 articles were evaluated which received to congress office as a result of the efforts of researchers in internal medicine field. Of these articles, 56 were selected for oral presentation and some considered as poster presentation.
